Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and of the enquiry forms and messaging we operate on behalf of our clients. They are between you and BaskRate Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17081373, registered office 8 Brierdene View, NE26 3HR.

1. What we do

BaskRate builds and runs advertising and lead-handling systems for UK trades businesses. We are a marketing services provider. We do not carry out roofing or any other trade work, we do not employ the tradespeople you are put in touch with, and we do not supervise, warrant or guarantee their work.

2. These terms do not replace a signed agreement

If you are a BaskRate client, your relationship with us is governed by the Marketing Services Agreement you signed. Where these website terms and that agreement conflict, the signed agreement prevails.

3. If you are a homeowner making an enquiry

When you submit an enquiry through an advert or form we operate, you are asking a specific tradesperson to contact you. By submitting it you confirm that:

• the details you give are accurate, and the contact number is yours to give;
• you are happy for that tradesperson, and us acting for them, to contact you about the enquiry by phone, text or email.

Any quotation, contract, workmanship or guarantee is entirely between you and that tradesperson. We are not a party to it and take no commission on the work.

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by telling us. See our Privacy Policy.

4. No guarantee of results

Figures shown on this site describe outcomes achieved for specific clients in specific circumstances. They are examples, not a promise. Advertising results depend on budget, market, season, pricing, and above all on how quickly and how well a business responds to the enquiries it receives. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any particular number of enquiries, jobs or revenue.

5. Third-party platforms

Our systems depend on services we do not control, including Meta, HighLevel and the telephone networks. We are not liable for outages, policy changes, account restrictions or pricing changes imposed by those platforms, though we will act promptly to work around them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use this site or our forms to submit false or malicious enquiries, to impersonate anyone, to attempt to gain unauthorised access, or to scrape or interfere with the service.

7. Intellectual property

The content, branding and systems on this site belong to BaskRate Ltd unless stated otherwise. Creative produced for a client under a signed agreement is dealt with in that agreement.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings, arising from your use of this site.

These terms do not affect the statutory rights of a consumer.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
